A defending champion has slid further out of finals contention, a Great Southern challenger has announced themselves as a contender and good news has come after a River Murray game was called off due to injury. Catch up on it all below:
RIVER MURRAY
A Mannum player has escaped serious injury, after a collision in the third quarter of their game against Southern Mallee saw the match called off early.

Initial fears over spinal/neck damage were downgraded yesterday , with Mitchell Smith instead being diagnosed with severe concussion.
Southern Mallee were awarded the points regardless, as they comfortably in front at the time (9.9 63 to 3.3 21).
In other results, the top five established their dominance over the lower sides.
The undefeated Jervois were challenged by Rambler, with the Roosters leading by 5 at the main change, however the Bluds surged home to win by 35 (14.6 90 to 7.13 55), the closest margin of the round.
Mypolonga also beat Tailem Bend by 59 (20.6 126 to 10.7 67) and the Coorong Cats held Mallee Districts to just one goal, eventually winning by 136 (21.19 145 to 1.3 9).

GREAT SOUTHERN
Mount Compass have proven themselves to be a genuine Great Southern finals contender, after holding second-placed Myponga-Sellicks to just 2 goals en route to a 35-point win (7.10 52 to 2.5 17).
Tom Pinyon kicked four of the game’s nine goals which helped the Bulldogs lock themselves into the top five.
Three other contenders in McLaren Districts, Victor Harbor and Willunga all tallied wins as well, while Strathalbyn kept pace with the top five with a 48-point win over Encounter Bay (15.5 95 to 7.5 47).

Lobethal’s stunning fall from grace has continued, after the previously winless Ironbank-Bridgewater stunned the defending champions by 24 in Lobethal (8.6 54 to 3.12 30).
It marks the first win that the newly formed Ironbank-Bridgewater have tallied in Division One, while the Tigers now sit at 3-6 in their premiership defence.
Mount Barker almost produced an upset of their own, only losing by 5 points to the in-form Nairne Bremer (5.13 43 to 5.8 38), while Hahndorf, Uraidla Districts and Mount Lofty picked up wins in tough conditions.
