A female Woolworths employee was held up at knife-point during the robbery of a Woolworths store in Sydney’s southwest.
She was asked to hand over cash, before the thief fled on a push-bike with a sum of cash on Wednesday morning.
The armed robbery took place at the supermarket on Cartwright Ave in Miller just after 7.30am.

The woman was not injured during the incident, police confirm.
“Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and were told a man had threatened an employee with a knife and demanded money, before stealing cash and leaving on a push-bike,” NSW Police said in a statement.
The store has now resumed normal operations.
A Woolworths spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au: “The safety of our team members and customers is our highest priority.”
“We’re in the process of offering counselling and support to our Miller team members, and continue to assist police as required.”
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and urge anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
