It’s easy to put off checking your heart health, but now may be the only time you have.
Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Australians.
For the most part it can be prevented.
That’s why the Deniliquin Local Health Advisory Committee is urging men to talk to their doctor and catch heart disease early.
Being male or having a family history of heart disease increases your risk.
Stress, high cholesterol, blood pressure, and poor diet can contribute to your risk of a heart attack.
Know your risk factors and make the time for a heart health check – it’s free if you are over 45.
While speaking with your doctor, make time to also go over your risk of skin and prostate cancer.
You doctor can also find help that works for you if you are experiencing mental health changes.
