On Sunday, the renowned presenter took to Instagram Stories to inform her fans of her health condition: “Greetings… Due to my shingles, I may not be able to work for the rest of the week. “Relax, I will return as soon as I have recovered fully.”
Holly Willoughby used social media to inform her fans about her illness. The star gave her fans an update on Friday. She shared a photo of a soup carton and a sandwich with the caption “I am grateful to Dermot for his thoughtful delivery of salt beef and chicken soup.” It was just what I needed.
She added: “I feel much better now and I want to thank you all for your kind words.” Dermot O’Leary sent Holly Willoughby a care package. Holly Schofield’s cohost Phillip Schofield is probably longing for Holly to be there. He returned to the show recently after a long absence that included his brother’s court case and Easter break.

Holly Marie Willoughby was born on 10 February 1981. She is an English TV presenter, model, and author. She currently co-presents ITV’s This Morning, (2009-present), and Dancing on Ice, (2006-2011).
Willoughby was the team captain of ITV2’s comedy panel show Celebrity Juice from 2008 to 2020. She has also hosted The Xtra Factor from 2008-2009, Text Santa (2011-2013 and 2015), The Voice UK 2012-2013, Surprise Surprise (2012-15), Play to the Whistle (2015)-2017 as well as taking part in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! She also appeared in Freeze the Fear With Wim Hof 2022 and The Games 2022.
Holly Willoughby, the youngest of two daughters, was born in Brighton (East Sussex). Her father Brian Willoughby was a sales manager for a double glazing company while her mother Linda Willoughby Fleming (nee Fleming) worked as an air stewardess. She attended Burgess Hill Girls, an independent school in Burgess Hill in West Sussex and The College of Richard Collyer, in Horsham.
Willoughby, then 14, was discovered in 1995 by talent scouts during The Clothes Show Live, which led her to sign up with Storm Management, a model agency. She started appearing in popular teen publications such as Mizz and Just Seventeen. She began her modeling career at the age of 17, in 1998. She worked with brands such as Pretty Polly, and appeared in advertisements and posters.

A spokesperson for ITV confirmed the news. She said, “We’ve known about Holly’s intention to leave the show since a long time. She wants to give priority to her children and pursue other career opportunities.” We support Holly’s decision and we have left the door open to her future return.
Phillip Schofield expressed his sadness at Holly’s departure. He said: “I am genuinely saddened that Holly will be leaving the show.” We have created unforgettable memories and shared laughs and tears over the years. Our friendship will continue after Holly’s exit. We have been friends since the beginning. I wish Holly the best and we will share a few shots of tequila on our last episode.
Holly and Phil have a close professional relationship, but they also share a real friendship. Their friendship is the reason for their success. They’ve never disagreed. Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield both took time away from the popular morning show, which led to them being temporarily replaced by Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.
