The Seasiders get their campaign underway at the league’s newly relegated Regional 1 South West side on Saturday, September 2 with Launceston will travel to the South West for the Seasiders’ first home game a week later.
The Recreation Ground’s side then take on Brixham (A), Lydney ( H) and Chew Valley (A) in the remainder of their games in September.
Weston host Brixham in their final game before Christmas on Saturday, December 16.
Weston take on Lydney in their first game of 2024 on January 6 before ending the season the same way they started by playing Barnstaple on April 6.
All fixtures are provisional and are set to change.
Sugg, who has been captain for the last two seasons, said they are looking to open the campaign with victory.
“All our focus will be on attacking Barnstaple and pushing for a win to start our season off strong,” he said.
“As they’ve come down from the league above, we’re expecting a strong opposition on our first away fixture.
“The lads always enjoy an away day and with the right preparations in preseason, we look to start off well and play some good rugby.”
Weston escaped relegation on the final day of the campaign with a 26-22 win at Brixham to persevere their league status.
The victory also marked head coach Darren Crompton’s final game in charge with Dave Burge named as his successor.
Former captain Burge has arrived from Gordano.
And Sugg says he is not getting to excited, with all his focus on a game-to-game basis.
“I don’t see much value in looking too far ahead with this league,” he added.
“As we know from the past, every game can be competitive no matter who you’re facing, and the results can always surprise you.
a bit cliche, but the focus will have to be on each week as it comes, with a much stronger intention on being aggressive at each and every fixture, and on winning games.
“Dave Burge brings a new voice to the squad and I’m excited to see how the team will grow throughout the year.”
