I’ve worked in ALDI stores across my native Mayo for sixteen years. Our new Ballyhaunis store will be a brilliant addition for the county. I’m delighted to be part of it. I’m based locally and live in Claremorris with my family and little daughter Aoife so know the benefit it will bring!

One benefit of working in an ALDI store is getting to know our customers. I’ve been speaking to so many locals who are hugely excited about the brand-new Ballyhaunis store. I can’t wait to meet them there and see all the new faces.
Career progression is another great feature of life at ALDI. At our stores in Claremorris, Castlebar, Ballinrobe and Ballina, I’ve worked as Store Assistant, Deputy Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, and I’ve always been supported to progress my career.
Our Ballyhaunis store will continue ALDI’s commitment to the communities we serve. Like all ALDI stores, we will work with our partners FoodCloud and the Too Good to Go, to help tackle food waste, and donate surplus food to those who need it most. We will also join ALDI’s Community Grants network, providing an annual €500 bursary grant to a local charity.
I’m proud of our commitment to providing unbeatable value and sourcing top-quality Irish ingredients. Alongside top-quality produce at unbeatable prices, customers can enjoy an excellent shopping experience at our state-of-the-art store, built in ALDI’s award-winning ‘Project Fresh’ design.
