Sure Pinkett Smith’s Entanglement With August Alsina
Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith was in a secret relationship with an American singer August Alsina. August Alsina was introduced to Pinkett Smith by her son Jaden Smith at a London Music Festival in 2015. The social media call it a short-lived published “entanglement” when their secret affair came to light in 2020 after Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith openly talked about it in Red Table Talk. During this show, The New Prince of Bel-Air the actor appeared visibly angry and pushed Jada Smith to the point where she confessed to her secret affair with the singer.
IN Red Table Talk, Sure Pinkett Smith revealed that,
“We decided we were going to separate for a period of time, I got confused with August … it was a relationship. I was in a lot of pain and I was very devastated.”

Following her statement when Will Smith asked her what she was looking for in that relationship, she replied:
“I just wanted to feel good, it’s been so long since I felt good,” Jada began. And it was truly a joy to just help heal someone. I think it has a lot to do with my codependency, which is another thing I had to learn to break the cycle.”
Later, Will Smith confirmed that Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina were rumored to have been in a relationship during the time when Smith and his wife took a break from their relationship but were still married to each other.
August Alsina’s song alludes to his short-lived romance
In April 2020, August Alsina released a new song Shake The World where he talks about his short-lived romance with Jada Smith in an indirect way. A line from the song goes, “Well, of course, some s*** is bound to go down when you mess with the world’s favorite”, which is said to be aimed at Pinkett Smith reminiscing about their entanglement. Currently, Pinkett Smith is 50 years old and the young singer is 29 years old when their relationship ended over 2 years ago.

Alsina has openly claimed that Will Smith has given him the blessing to continue his relationship with Jada Smith, although Jada Smith has denied any such thing. Alsina revealed all this on a talk show The breakfast club where he said,
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation because of the transformation from their marriage to a life partnership … he gave me his blessing”
After his shocking message on this open media platform, Pinkett Smith’s legal agent denied everything related to this statement and stated that it was “absolutely not true!!”. Despite all these situations, Will Smith openly defended his wife Jada Pinkett Smith at the 2022 Oscars when he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage, in front of hundreds of people while passing a joke directed at Jada Smith’s hair condition.
