Throughout the week, there was a lot of excitement surrounding 7x Pro Bowler Antonio Brown’s potential participation in their home game against the Fayetteville Mustangs. Despite the anticipation, Brown didn’t take the field. Nevertheless, approximately 5,000 fans were still present, hoping to witness his performance. However, they were taken aback when Brown arrived wearing a stylish suit instead of football gear.
Fans were left astonished when it became clear that Brown hadn’t completed his required physical examination on time and had chosen not to play. Their hopes were dashed, but Brown did make an appearance during halftime, where he had a message to share with the disappointed fans about his absence from the game.

Unfortunately, the fans at MVP Arena were left disappointed as ex-NFL player Brown didn’t step onto the field wearing cleats. While he did make an effort to sign autographs, it means that everyone will have to be patient and wait a bit longer to witness his gameplay. Following his absence from the game, Antonio Brown provided some clarification regarding the situation. He explained that there are certain procedures he must adhere to in order to participate in football. Simply deciding to play without demonstrating his value to the coach is not an option for him. He emphasized the need to show that he can contribute effectively and make a significant impact on the game.
After missing the game, Antonio Brown provided clarification regarding his absence- “It’s a certain procedure you got to follow to play football, AJ. I can’t just roll out the couch and say I could play. I got to show the coach that I can be productive and show him that I can make a difference. I’ll be the fans know I’m a good football player, but it’s certain qualifications in the A-N-A league that you have to follow. And my agent in jail has been doing a great job with telling those things. So, tell the fans, stay encouraged, my ‘84 jersey’ is coming in, everything is working out.”

He was able to speak to people in his owner’s box, and he mentioned that he plans to be ready for the next home game on June 17th. However, the Albany Empire was truly in need of him, as indicated by the game result.

Since Brown took over as the majority owner, there have been several disappointments both on and off the field with the team’s personnel. Despite starting the game with a promising drive in the first quarter, the Empire fumbled the ball, which was recovered by the Mustangs.
