GOLD Coast theme park boss Clark Kirby and his wife Sara have put one of their beachfront home on the market with a $10.5 million price tag.
It comes six months after the pair dropped $4.4 million on an acreage property in the Hinterland.
Mr Kirby, who is the Village Roadshow CEO, bought the Mermaid Beach property on Hedges Ave, known as Millionaire’s Row, with his wife before the pandemic property boom on the Coast.
Records reveal the couple paid $10.3 million in November, 2019 for two neighbouring properties on the street on which they had planned a new family home.
Their property at 67 Hedges Ave went to auction where it attracted an opening bid of $6 million.
The only other bid was a vendor bid of $9 million before it was passed in.
It’s now on the market at $10.5 million.

Harcourts Coastal’s Dane Atherton and Katrina Walsh were behind the marketing campaign and described the property as being one of the “Gold Coast’s most exclusive addresses”.
“Hedges Ave has long been known as the most desirable address on the Gold Coast yet there are only 78 private home holdings on the street including a mixture of single, double, and a handful of triple blocks – and this number is shrinking yearly with the amalgamation of larger blocks,” Ms Walsh said.
“To say this street is tightly held is an understatement so when an opportunity like 67 Hedges Ave arrives on the market providing the ideal combination of liveability and future potential you need to act fast to secure what is quickly becoming an endangered species on the Gold Coast.”
The 405 sqm block features a three-storey house with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a media room, study, and two car spaces.
“The residence has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of its coveted beachfront location with stunning panoramic views of the seaside vistas visible throughout which really showcase the home’s picturesque beachside location,” Ms Walsh said.
“The lower level of the home is made for entertaining, with an beachfront lounge area and deck which fronts onto a 10m grassy expanse before your feet hit the sand.
“With an outdoor shower and a wet bar, it’s the perfect space to enjoy the sea breezes and appreciate your idyllic surroundings in the privacy of your own home.”
Ms Kirby is a journalist who found fame on Channel 7, while Mr Clark is the grandson of Village Roadshow Ltd founder Roc Kirby and runs the theme parks operations for the family.
Mr Clark steered Movie World, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild – among the city’s biggest employers — through the pandemic where he was forced tell more than 5000 people they were being stood down from work.
