Richmond VFL has locked in its side for Sunday morning’s match against GWS at Giants Stadium.
The clash against the Giants, which kicks off at 9.30am, will be played as a curtain-raiser prior to Sunday afternoon’s Richmond v GWS game at 1.10pm.
The Tigers’ team features a number of exciting additions, including the long-awaited returns of second-year AFL-listed player Tom Brown, who is back from a wrist injury, and VFL Tiger Mykelti Lefau, who ruptured his ACL last May.
Talented defender Mutaz El Nour is also back in the line-up after suffering a knee injury in Round 5.
Both of Richmond’s 2023 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft selections Matt Coulthard and James Trezise will play in the clash, marking Coulthard’s first game in the colours. Rebounding defender Trezise was recruited from the Tigers’ VFL program.
Rounding out the inclusions is AFL Tiger Thomson Dow and VFL Tiger Ben Bilston-McGillen.
Out of the side that defeated Essendon by two points in the Dreamtime curtain-raiser a fortnight ago are Tyler Young, Harrison White, Max Clohesy, Billy Cooper, Fraser Elliot and Matt Clarkson.
Clohesy and White have been named as emergencies.
