Legendary lightweight fighter B.J. Penn made some huge conspiracy theories about Mexico City and Moscow. Mexico City is the capital of Mexico, whereas Moscow is the capital of Russia. The former champion found something that remained hidden from the ordinary folks, or at least that is what he thought. He posted this conspiracy on his Instagram handle that has gone viral on social media.
He wrote, “Moscow = Mexico. If Moscow and Mexico are the exactly the same word spelt different. And America’s natives were Russians building the second Moscow City (Mexico City). And America bought Alaska and Oregon from Russia. Did America ‘WIN THE WEST’ from Russia? I wish we had real news. We don’t know sh*t about history.”
Mexico City and Moscow have the letter M in common at the start. However, it is baffling to think about how Penn developed the theory. This is not Penn’s first time coming up with a conspiracy theory. In 2022, he pushed an antisemitic conspiracy theory that revolved around globalism. With a series of images, Penn discussed the danger that globalism brings.
In his retirement days, Penn has become a conspiracy theorist. On his Instagram account, he posts multiple interesting theories occasionally. The retired fighter resides in Hawaii and was the premiere fighter from the Island before Max Holloway came along. According to Joe Rogan, the prime version of B.J. Penn could have stopped anyone. Rogan’s dream fight included a prime Penn vs. prime Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Prime B.J. Penn destroyed every lightweight contender
Former champion B.J. Penn may have had the best prime in the 2000s. Penn fought good fighters like Matt Hughes, Sean Sherk, and Jens Pulver and completely battered them. He held the UFC welterweight and lightweight titles during his stint in the company.
In 2009, Penn stopped high-level fighters like Diego Sanchez and Kenny Florian. Both Florian and Sanchez could have held the UFC gold if Penn didn’t fight in the UFC. Penn submitted Florian, and during his bout against Sanchez, the doctor stopped the bout due to the damage inflicted by Penn.
From 2003 to 2009, Penn only lost in the welterweight and open-weight divisions. He remained undefeated in the lightweight division at the time. Penn was a natural lightweight fighter with a size disadvantage against welterweight fighters like Georges St-Pierre and Hughes. However, he did Hughes twice despite the disadvantage.
