Horsham Township Council also awarded bids for paving and milling at its recent meeting.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The township is getting two new warehouses.
At its recent meeting, the Horsham Township Council granted final approval for the construction of two warehouses on County Line Road.
The commercial development plans —which were unanimously approved by the council —call for warehouses of 224,000 square feet and 100,000 square feet on a 31-acre property on 853 W. County Line Road near Graeme Park.

Meanwhile, the council unanimously awarded several bids for upcoming projects.
They included:
- Paving — James D. Morrisey’s $356,961 bid for paving.
- Milling —A. Giuliani Equipment Co.’s $39,000 bid for milling.
- Line Painting —A1 Traffic Control’s $55,000 bid for line painting.
- ADA Ramps —LB Construction’s bid $49,900 bid for ADA ramps.
- Plantings —All Seasons Landscaping’s $18,000 bid for plantings for the Witmer Road Basin Retrofit Project.
In other township business:
- The council unanimously approved a 5-year extension to the Hallmark Building Group for preliminary approval on the Hankin Tract Commercial Land Development at 1300 Easton Rd.
- The council unanimously approved two appointments to the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority. They are Timothy Smeltzer and Michael J. Shortall. Both are filling vacancies on the board.
- The council voted on a reimbursement agreement with MIRIA to pay for office park shuttle bus service.
- A waiver of land development with conditions for Eurofins to construct a loading dock at its facility at 795 Horsham Road was also approved unanimously.
- A resolution authorizing an application to the Military Installation Remediation and Infrastructure Authority for a $7.5 million grant to help fund the upgrade to the intersection of Limekiln Pike and Horsham Road was also approved.
