OFFALY have made two enforced changes in personnel and a number of positional changes for Saturday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship preliminary quarter final against Tipperary at Glenisk O’Connor Park (4pm throw in).
Eimhin Kelly and Paddy Clancy, who both made big impacts off the bench in the Joe McDonagh Cup Final against Carlow, start on Saturday in place of the suspended Dara Maher and the injured David Nally.
There are a number of positional switches with David King dropping back to left corner back and Ben Conneely switching to the right of that line. Jack Clancy, who wore the number 11 jersey against Carlow is now named at right half back. Eimhin Kelly comes straight in at midfield in place of David Nally while in attack Paddy Clancy is named at full forward with Charlie Mitchell switching to the left corner and Cillian Kiely in the other corner. Brian Duignan and Eoghan Cahill who were in the full forward line three weeks ago, are now named on the half forward line.
Tipperary have made three changes from the side which lost to Waterford in their final Munster round robin game with Craig Morgan coming in at corner back and Jason Forde and Jake Morris returning after injury in attack. They also make a number of positional changes from that game.
