Race 1 – XXXX Gold Benchmark 74 Handicap (2100m)
#4 – Olympic Class
The Michael Morrison-trained galloper wasn’t bad coming from near the back of the field in the Grafton Cup Preview (2020m) at Murwillumbah on Soft conditions last start. He should be nearing peak fitness now fourth-up into his campaign.
Does meet Sherriff Cody 2kg worse off for their latest meeting, but should receive an economical run from the low raw and can race on the speed under regular rider Anthony Allen. Looking for his first race win in over a year but has found the right race to do so.
Race 5 – Mid Richmond Plumbers & Supplies Benchmark 58 Handicap (1100m)
#6 – Tres Redoute
Brisbane trainer Desleigh Forster brings this three-year-old filly south to take on older horses, looking for a first-up crush. Has faced far tougher opposition in her career to-date, including the likes of Ekaterina, Mystic Aroma and Miss Baltimore.
Love the way she attacked the line late in a recent trial at Deagon. She can settle in a forward position under gun rider Damien Thornton, has won first-up in the past and will be hard to catch.
Race 6 – Lismore Workers Club Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300m)
#2 – Stoinka
Finds an easier assignment than last start when he almost led throughout to win a Class 3 at this track. He was beaten by a smart one late there and beat the rest comfortably.
Will pay the penalty for dropping back in grade with 61kg under Danny Peisley. But he should be able to roll forward again and give a tremendous sight for punters.

Race 1 – Vale Max Lamond Maiden Plate (1400m)
#6 – Prince Of Wales
Ran into a very smart one in Red Card on debut when finishing down the track, then was well backed to win when racing first-up at Bathurst last start when 1L off Kiribati.
Should arrive here fitter for the effort and appears to have the early speed to overcome the wide draw in a small field.
Race 4 – Kel Campbell Fuel Haulage Class 1 & Maiden Plate (1600m)
#13 – Twelfth Night
Got the maiden out of the way at Newcastle late last month, overcoming traffic issues to score by a narrow margin. She has since been back to the trials and only got warm late in play.
Has a tricky draw to overcome but going up to a mile looks suitable now and she should be nearing peak fitness third-up into the campaign. This looks a suitable race for her to record back-to-back wins.
Race 6 – Lighthouse Plumbing Class 3 Handicap (1200m)
#8 – Divine Vicky
The So You Think filly did a good job to win on debut at Kembla Grange, settling on speed to beat Surrenders by a narrow margin. There was a good gap back to the rest.
She has been given a tick over trial in the time since to keep her up to the mark. She can go forward from Barrier 6 under Jean Van Overmeire and could be hard to catch.

Race 2 – Bridgestone Select Pakenham Maiden Plate (1600m)
#2 – Brut Star
Has come awfully close to winning at his past two outings, gunned down in the shadows of the post after setting the tempo throughout under 59.5kg.
Two-kilo-claiming apprentice Luke Campbell should be able to position the gelding on pace from where he can give another great account with some weight relief. Obviously, the major query is that he is winless in 16 starts. But he won’t go down without a fight.
Race 5 – Lifestyle Communities Bm58 Handicap (1200m)
#5 – Sparkling Blue
Tends to race best when fresh and proved that when a narrow second first-up behind Le Ferrari at this track on May 29s. Yet to strike a blow when second-up but did run 1.7L sixth in the Listed Placid Ark Stakes (1200m) at Ascot when second-up early in her career.
Looks to have found a suitable race, dropping back from 1400m to 1200m and stays at 58kg with Emily Pozman’s 3kg claim. She can roll to the front once more and with some fitness on her side, may be able to hold her rivals at bay.
