Clare Valley, known for its picturesque vineyards and breathtaking landscapes, is set to welcome a new addition to its tourism offerings.
Millon Wines, in collaboration with renowned architects Ben Green & Associates, has revealed plans for three charming accommodation pods nestled within the heart of the valley. These carefully designed cabins will provide visitors with a unique and immersive experience surrounded by the region’s natural beauty.
The proposed cabins have been thoughtfully crafted to harmonize with the existing function center, property curtilage, and formal gardens of Millon Wines. The integration of the cabins within the vineyard and primary production activities will allow tourists to engage with the winemaking process while enjoying a comfortable stay.
The cabins are set to be spacious, with a study-style bedroom and a kitchenette, as well as a bathroom. The indoor patio area will extend the living space, offering guests a serene spot to unwind.
The cabins’ entrance is marked by an open-sided deck area, constructed with composite timber panel cladding and ‘Maxline’ sheet metal cladding. Furthermore, the cabins will be elevated 150mm from the natural ground level and accessed via a small stepped staircase, providing an elevated perspective of the vineyards.
The proposed development aims to enhance the overall tourism offerings in Clare Valley by offering dedicated and specialized experiences to travelers. The region is renowned for its exceptional food, wine, and adventure tourism, and these accommodation pods will serve as a perfect base for tourists to explore the local delights.
Whether it’s indulging in wine tastings, exploring scenic walking trails, or immersing oneself in the vibrant cultural events, visitors will have a wealth of experiences to choose from during their stay.
You can find Millon Wines at 48 George St, Williamstown SA.
