Town Council meeting – The panel will be awarding some bids (for sewer work, assessments of the fire and police departments – including staffing levels – and tennis court resurfacing), a final presentation of the Community Services Master Plan and an analysis by the town solicitor of new housing and land use laws. EG Historic Cemetery Advisory Commission meeting – The panel will be discussing ongoing projects throughout East Greenwich and their impact on our cemeteries, including the proposed 410-unit Division Road development. We’ll also be reviewing recent cemetery cleanups and plans for future cleanups. Anyone with an interest in our local cemeteries is encouraged to attend, and to find out more about joining the commission. School Committee meeting – A special session to vote on an addendum to Supt. Brian Ricca’s contract and a salary increase for the second year of his three-year contract. In the library at Cole Middle School at 7 p.m. Find the agenda and Zoom link HERE.

Marvelous Math Monday – This is a monthly feature of the Academy Science Center, this Monday’s topic is Fabulous Fibonacci. The hour-long program offers a hands-on activity, at 3 p.m. for middle and high school students and 4 p.m. for elementary students. Constructed Prisms Opening at Warwick Center for the Arts – The show Constructed Prisms: Sculpture, Photography, and Installation opens July 12 and runs through Aug. 19 at the Warwick Center for the Arts, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Images and structures are global witnesses to our changing personal and social histories. They inform who we are, how we see the world, and reveal personal truths. This exhibit features structures and lens based images such as 3D printed sculpture, traditional sculpture, digital and drone photography, and printed/transferred photographs.
