Tottenham retain an interest in Everton keeper Jordan Pickford despite his recent new deal, sources have told Football Insider.
The 29-year-old signed a new four-and-a-half year contract in February running until the summer of 2027.
That has not put off Spurs, who are in the market for a new number one with Hugo Lloris confirming he is likely to leave.
Brentford’s David Raya is a top target for Tottenham, but they are monitoring Pickford.
One intriguing alternative is Croatia number one Dominik Livakovic.
He has been watched by Spurs while playing for Dinamo Zagreb and is valued by his club at around £10million.
The 28-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at Dinamo Zagreb after almost nine years at the club.
The keeper also impressed for his country at the World Cup in 2022 and helped Croatia secure a third-place finish in the tournament.
Spurs are in the market for a new number one amid uncertainty around the future of current number one Hugo Lloris.
The 36-year-old is contracted until summer 2024 but speaking to French media, as quoted by The Guardian (3 June), the former France international said he has “desires for other things”.
The Spurs captain said he is coming to “the end of an era” and is looking at other options ahead of the summer window once he returns to full fitness.
Fraser Forster was filling in for Lloris towards the end of the season after the preferred number one picked up a season-ending injury but is unlikely to be first choice moving forward.
