The Torrens University SA U18 team faces Victoria Metro at Thebarton Oval on Sunday in Game 2 of the 2023 AFL National Championships.
The SA team went down by 16 points to a strong Allies side in Game 1 last Sunday after making a spirited comeback in the second half.
SA’s AFL Academy members – captain Will Patton, vice-captain Ashton Moir, Jack Delean and Kane McAuliffe – will again feature in the strong line-up in Game 2, while Glenelg tall Harry Francis comes into the side.
This will be the SA U18 boys’ final home game in the Championships before hitting the road for contests against Victoria Country (June 18) in Melbourne and Western Australia (June 24) in Perth to round out its campaign.
The game starts on Sunday at 9:45am and will be streamed live on AFL.com.au and the AFL App.
This is followed by The Allies versus Western Australia from 12:15pm at Thebarton.
