Tori Spelling celebrated her milestone 50th birthday with her nearest and dearest on Tuesday.
The actress rang in the big 5-0 with her husband Dean McDermott, BFF Jennie Garth, and mother Candy Spelling at Caviar Kaspia, a French restaurant in West Hollywood.
Tori was dressed for the occasion in an exquisite emerald green halter dress adorned with a delicate, circular pattern that cascaded down her legs.
She rocked gold Gucci heels and wore her hair in a trendy style that saw half of it pulled up into a high ponytail and the remainder cascading down in loose ringlets.
Inside the bash, a table was set with bouquets of pink peonies, miniature candles, and chic gold lamps.
Adjacent to the main table, gifts wrapped up in black ribbon were placed.
Tori arrived hand-in-hand with her husband, who was also sporting green like his wife. The posing continued inside the party, where the couple posed by the immaculate display.
Jennie posed with the birthday girl as well, and looked fab in a glossy black halter dress that cinched into her waist. Her hair was done up into a ponytail with her bangs stylishly skimming over her done-up complexion.
Jennie gave her former Beverly Hills: 90210 co-star a shout-out on social media, posting a sweet selfie taken from the bash.
‘Tori & Jennie or is it Donna & Kelly? It’s both forever and always! Happy Birthday gorgeous. I’m so glad your finally 50, I was feeling lonely without you… In my eyes we will always be these two teenagers…which explains why whenever we’re together that’s exactly how we act…LOL I can’t wait until we’re in our rockers, like we always talk about, laughing & remembering (or not in my case) the good ol’ days. I will love you until the end of time,’ she gushed in the caption.
Tori’s mother, Candy, also attended the festivities in a shimmering gold frock accessorized with a dazzling diamond necklace.
The duo looked as happy as can be as they celebrated Tori’s special day together, after overcoming a decades-long rift.
Candy gushed about her daughter as she shared a snap from the festivities to her account: ‘#HappyBirthday to my beautiful daughter @torispelling. It’s a great occasion to share some of my favorite photos of you as a little girl. #proudmom #ilovemydaughter #seemslikeyesterday #daughtersareapecial #loveyoulots #familyphotomemories #aaronspelling #randyspelling.’
Although they were previously thought to have strained relations, Tori said last October that she and Candy are in daily contact.
‘We’ve had a good relationship but it’s like next-level right now,’ Tori said on Jeff Lewis Live, adding that they were ‘really close.’
She declared that she and her mother ‘text every single day’ and said that their relationship is now ‘really, really good.’
Their current equation is a far cry from 2009, when Candy told People magazine that she was not speaking to her daughter or son-in-law Dean McDermott.
‘I’ve tried to talk to her, but that doesn’t work,’ Candy said of her daughter. ‘She may not even know why she’s angry.’
‘It’s not like we’re not talking, we just haven’t talked,’ Tori shot back in People, adding: ‘There’s no feud. We simply never meshed.’
Tori and Dean met and began their affair while working on a Lifetime movie in 2005 – when they were both married to other people.
They have since tied the knot and welcomed five children into the world together – Liam, 16, Stella, 14, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, six.
The couple have remained together despite being buffeted by divorce rumors and reports of financial problems over the years.
When Tori lost her father in 2006, she infamously inherited just $800,000 of his vast fortune estimated at $600 million.
Candy, who was the executor of Aaron’s estate, told the New York Times that her daughter got so little because of her extravagance.
She said that Tori ‘would close a store and drop $50,000 to $60,000,’ insisting: ‘I never did anything like that. She just went crazy.’
Tori shared in her own 2013 book Spelling It Like It Is that she had been forced to learn to tighten the purse strings – but not without discomfort.
She wrote: ‘It’s not my fault I’m an uptown girl stuck in a midtown life. I was raised in opulence. My standards are ridiculously high. We can’t afford that lifestyle, but when you grow up silver spoon it’s hard to go plastic.’
