Junior A Hurling League: Well done to Nenagh Éire Óg’s Junior As who qualified for League Final on Friday last. With a fine performance they defeated Ballinahinch on a scoreline of 0-31 to 3-18. They will now play either Toomevara or Roscrea in the final on Friday next in Borrisokane.
Junior B Championship: Our Junior B group start their championship on Sunday next when they play Portroe in the first round. This game is in Portroe at 7pm.
New Field Update: Great progress has been on the new field in recent weeks. The drainage has just been completed and the topsoil and sand are next to be spread in the coming week. The target date for completion is the first week in July.

Under 5: Training for boys is now underway on Saturdays at 10am; contact John on 087-1365053 to join.
Under 7: Training continues at 10am on Saturdays. Midweek training is on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm. The boys played Newport at home on Saturday morning last, a super morning of fun and hurling for all. Next weekend the North Tipp Go Games are being hosted by clubs on Friday and Saturday. These are 6/7 a side games. All new boys are very welcome to come along; contact Erica on 086-8774496.
Under 9: Under 9 boys played a hurling blitz with Cashel on Saturday morning last in Nenagh. Both teams did really well displaying great skills throughout. Training continues Tuesday evening 6-7.15pm and Saturday morning 10-11.15am. We love to see new faces coming along, boys born in 2014/15 are very welcome to come and give it a try; contact Alan on 087-7518789.
Under 11: Under 11 boys travelled to Cloughjordan to play Kilruane, super performance from the boys. Training continues on Tuesday from 6 for both hurling and football and then on Friday at 6 for hurling. All new boys are very welcome to come along and give it a try; contact Cathal on 086-0806460.
Under 13: Under 13 boys travelled to Murroe Boher GAA club to play in the final of the Ryan Cusack Cup. Our boys got a great welcome from their hosts who provided a barbecue for the boys after the game. The boys were too strong for Murroe on the day. Captain Anluan White accepted the Ryan Cusack Cup and Oisin McNamara received the man of the match award. Our three teams played Burgess and Ballina on Tuesday night in the North Championship. Training on Tuesday and Friday (unless there is a match). New players always welcome; contact Niall on 087-408 6439.
Under 15: Under 15 boys play Ballina in the North Hurling Championship on 22nd June followed by Roscrea to Monday 26th. We then participate in football Féile the following weekend. Hurling training this week is on Tuesday at 7:30, Thursday we play Ballina, Saturday training tbc.
In preparation for the upcoming regional Féile competition the boys were presented with new Féile gear – socks, togs and training tops. The gear is fabulous and has been kindly sponsored by a number of businesses in town, Brendan Gavin from Ger Gavin Home Interiors, Joe Mulqueen from Andy’s Bar & Restaurant, Permanent TSB and the Nenagh Éire Óg Juvenile Club.
