Erica Herman, Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, has filed a $30 million lawsuit against the golfer’s trust.
She claims that Woods and his agents illegally locked her out of their shared home in Florida and she has not been allowed to return since.
Herman claims she had an “oral lease” with Woods that gave her the right to live in the Hobe Sound property for a “certain duration,” which she claims was six years, the duration of her relationship with Woods.
She also claims the home would be “fully paid for” by Woods’ trust.
Herman claims she was tricked into leaving the home and then told she was not allowed to return.
She further alleges that the trust misappropriated more than $40,000 in cash belonging to her.
In response to the lawsuit, Woods’ attorneys argued that Herman is not a tenant under the Residential Landlord Tenant Act and that any “contractual claim on the alleged oral lease would be barred by the statute of frauds.”
The case is ongoing.
In a separate request, Herman has asked the court if she NDA with Woods may be considered not “coercive” due to allegations of sexual harassment or abuse, but she has yet to detail the allegations.
