Hurt love? Tiger forest has had his fair share of ups and downs while searching for The One – including several cheating scandals.
Woods broke onto the golf scene at a young age and by 20 had turned professional. One year later, in 1997, he earned the title of greatest athlete the sport had ever seen when he won the Masters by 12 strokes. His love life apparently followed the successful pattern when he met Elin Nordegren in 2001 through other golfers Jesper Parnevikfor whom she was nanny at the time.
While the World Golf Hall of Fame inductee seemed smitten with the Swedish native from the start, Nordegren took a little longer to warm up to dating someone in the spotlight. “She had her opinions about celebrities, and they weren’t high. And she’s very shy, so the idea of joining that world didn’t appeal to her,” says the model’s friend Sandra Sobieraj Westfall revealed in the 2021 HBO documentary, Tiger. “And when he asked her out, I think she turned him down at first. … She gradually became convinced that she should give him a chance, and then they went out.”
Two years after they first crossed paths, Woods popped the question, and in October 2004, the couple said, “I do.” Their daughter, Sam, was born in June 2007 and was followed by son Charlie born in February 2009.
In the same year, Woods and Nordegren’s relationship took a step back when news broke that the professional athlete had been unfaithful. Rachel Uchitel was outed as Woods’ longtime mistress in November 2009, and she was just the tip of the iceberg.
The five-time Masters champion checked into rehab later that year for sex addiction after more than 10 women came forward with stories of alleged relationships and hookups involving Woods. Nordegren stayed by her then-husband’s side when he sought medical help, but in early 2010 they officially separated.
“In retrospect, it’s not how I would change 2009 and how it all turned out. It would be to have a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife,” Woods said Time in December 2015 while reflecting on his past indiscretions. “When it comes down to it, right down to it, just having a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife when we were married.”
The three-time US Open winner added: “Our frustrations would have come out if we had talked about it and been open and honest with each other. We are now, and it’s absolutely fantastic.”
Two years later, Woods wrote his memoirs, Tiger Woods – Outstanding, The Masters and Meand spoke once again about how much he hurt Nordegren and their children with his actions.
“My regret will last a lifetime,” he wrote. “Nevertheless, Elin and I are devoted to our children and we have become best friends when we care about them. It’s all about the children for us.
The 2019 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient eventually overcame the scandal and moved on romantically with the likes of Lindsay Vonn and later Erica Herman.
News broke in March 2023 that Woods and Herman had resigned as the Florida native sought to void her nondisclosure agreement with the golf legend — citing the Speak Out Act as her reason for filing. The law allows for NDAs to be voided due to sexual assault or harassment, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.

Elin Nordegren
Woods proposed to Nordegren in 2003 after meeting two years earlier. The couple tied the knot in 2004 and later welcomed daughter Sam and son Charlie in 2007 and 2009, respectively. News broke in 2009 that the golfer had a long-term mistress, Uchitel, and other women later came forward with allegations that they had been intimate with Woods while he was married. Nordegren and Woods separated in early 2010 and finalized the divorce in August of the same year.

Rachel Uchitel
In November 2009, the news came that Woods had cheated on Nordegren with several women and had a full relationship with Uchitel. While Uchitel tried to shut down the speculation that month by talking to Woods’ then-wife, Nordegren, the Swedish model found evidence to prove the relationship soon after they chatted.
Uchitel told exclusively Us in January 2021 that she had a “love addiction” during her affair with Woods. “I keep falling into traps, you know, either [relationships] it’s just maybe [the] wrong timing or people not being the right people for me at the right time,” she explained.

In December 2009, the porn star confirmed that she and the two-time FedEx Cup champion had been “intimate” after previously claiming she “f—ked Tiger Woods” in a May 2009 online video. Us confirmed in February 2013 that things heated up between the skier and Woods after they first met at a charity event in the spring of 2012. “Their friendship slowly turned into a relationship,” an insider said at the time. However, the Olympian announced in May 2015 that she and the PGA Tour 1996 Rookie of the Year had parted ways after three years together.

Erica Herman
The duo first linked up in 2017 and two years later, Herman was by Wood’s side when he won the Masters tournament. She was also there in February 2021 to support the star during his recovery from a single-car collision that left him with multiple leg injuries. News broke in March 2023 that the couple split after Herman filed court documents in an attempt to overturn her non-disclosure agreement that she first signed when she started dating the California native. Us confirmed that Herman and Woods first split in the fall of 2022, according to court documents.
Herman cited the Speak Out Act — which “prohibits judicial enforcement of a non-disclosure or non-disparagement clause agreed to before a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment in violation of federal, tribal or state law,” as her reason to seek an annulment in early 2023, according to documents obtained by Us.
