Well, there’s one small town in North Dakota where it seems that people fart $100 dollar bills.
This town has been identified by Go Banking Rates as the RICHEST small town in all of North Dakota. This little community is actually not that little anymore. It’s practically become a suburb of the cities of Fargo and West Fargo as both those communities continue to grow south. Plenty of new construction is going into this town.
This small town is none other than Horace, North Dakota, and has a median income of $138,636.
Go Banking Rates analyzed data from the United States Census Bureau income data in locations in every state with 500 to 15,000 households to determine the richest small towns in each state.
Horace, North Dakota has a population of 3,823 as of 2023 and is the 16th biggest city in North Dakota. It’s a city that has been growing over the last several years and is up 6.7% percent from last year. The high school is even playing Class A in some sports.
Horace’s population will likely jump over Grafton who is in 15th place (Grafton has a population of 4,095 people) in the next year or so, much like Lincoln did last year (Lincoln is in 14th place at 4,440).
