If you’re looking for a mini summer adventure without a great deal of travel, consider a weekend away at Dant Crossing.
Located south of Louisville in the scenic enclave of Gethsemane, Dant Crossing, 225 Dee Head Road, is home to Log Still Distillery, which features a 2,300-seat outdoor amphitheater, a variety of dining and lodging options and more.
Whether you head to Dant Crossing for an overnight stay or an evening getaway, there will be music in the air this summer at the outdoor amphitheater called The Amp at Log Still. Musical entertainment for the 2023 summer series includes artists such as Dionne Warwick, Rick Springfield, Chase Mathew, Brothers Osborne, and more.
Additionally, the distillery is also selling tickets for its exclusive Summer Supper Series. For an additional purchase, guests can receive an exclusive dining experience with a rotating menu curated by Log Still Distillery’s world-renowned Executive Chef David Danielson. Lousvillians may remember Danielson, who previously served as the executive chef at Churchill Downs Racetrack. The Amp’s Summer Supper Series dates also include Dwight Yoakam on July 14, Elle King on July 29 and Lady A on Sept. 8.
Besides the outdoor amphitheater and restaurant, Dant Crossing, which is run by cousins Wally Dant, Lynne Dant, and Charles Dant, is an ever-growing family destination that currently includes a variety of unique bed and breakfasts, an 18,000 square-foot wedding and events venue, a 12-acre lake for fishing with a paved walking trail and the Log Still Distillery, which you can tour and spend time tasting Monk’s Road spirits.
