The five fastest Premier League players of the 2022/23 campaign have been revealed.
Coming in at number one is Kyle Walker, who clocked an impressive 37.31 kilometers per hour during a game between Everton and Manchester City. The full-back’s speed is a crucial part of his game, allowing him to make crucial tackles and get up and down the pitch quickly.
Next up is Brennan Johnson, who hit a top speed of 36.70 kilometers per hour during a game between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City. The forward was a standout performer during the season. He whipped in eight goals and three assists to help Forest maintain their top-flight status.
Mykhailo Mudryk is third on the list, with a top speed of 36.63 kilometers per hour during his Chelsea debut away to Liverpool in January. The Ukrainian winger joined the club in a deal worth €100 million from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Anthony Gordon comes in at number four, having reached a top speed of 36.61 kilometers per hour during a game between Fulham and Everton. This was before his €45 million winter transfer to Newcastle United.
Finally, Darwin Nunez rounds out the list, having hit a top speed of 36.53 kilometers per hour on his Premier League debut for Liverpool. The scoreline ended 2-2 against Fulham at Craven Cottage. The Uruguayan forward marked the game with a goal and an assist.
