Two teenage girls were arrested Friday night in Glen Burnie after police said they found them in the back of a stolen Hyundai with a loaded gun in the car.Anne Arundel County police said on Friday at around 9:15 p.m., officers were patrolling when they found a silver 2019 Hyundai sedan with the engine running and no one in the driver’s seat.When officers approached, two females fled from the back seat on foot. Detectives detained both teens without incident, according to police. One girl is a 16-year-old from Baltimore. The other is a 15-year-old from Glen Burnie, police said.Investigation found that the ignition appeared to be tampered with and the car was confirmed as stolen. Further searching led police to a semi-automatic handgun in the passenger compartment, police said.According to police, both subjects were arrested and charged accordingly.
