Team White produced a dominant first half display on their way to recording a 91-53 victory over Team Black in the Under-19 Women’s game.
Fatmata Janneh claimed the MVP award with an impressive statline of 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Ebere Egbirika was another standout candidate with a game-high of 26 points.
Meanwhile, Abbey Whitehouse also added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win, with Team Black led by Faye Endean’s 15 points.

Team White jumped out to a 9-2 start capped by a three from Whitehouse before Egbirika later scored seven unanswered on the way to making it 21-12 after 10 minutes.
Janneh and Egbirika combined to score nine points at the start of the second with Liv Forster hitting a three to spark a 10-0 run as the gap was extended to 30 points. Forster added another triple late in the half, only for Faye Endean to answer from deep at the buzzer, though Team Black trailed 55-24 by this point.
Last year’s MVP Issy Bunyan opened the scoring when play resumed, but a revival was a long way as Team White managed to keep their opponents at bay. Endean scored seven points in the quarter with Team Black enjoying a bright spell, albeit briefly.
Whitehouse had the final say in the quarter with six points to push the lead out back out to 73-40 for Team White.
A triple from Cristabel Osarobo opened the fourth, but Egbirika and Janneh checked back in late on to firm up impressive statlines with Janneh cementing her status as MVP.
