- Sydney Sweeney just hit up the Cannes Film Festival and showed off her incredibly toned abs in a Celine bra top and slouchy jeans.
- The actress, 25, is big on body positivity.
- When it comes to workouts, Sydney has been doing mixed martial arts since she was young, but you won’t catch her doing yoga.
Sydney Sweeney has a lot going on, what with starring in a slew of hit shows and movies. But she, like most of Hollywood’s elite, is busy hanging out at the Cannes Film Festival being fabulous right now.
While the White Lotus star has gone all out on the red carpet (more on that in a sec), she’s also completely owning her street style. The 25-year-old was spotting hanging out around the Hotel Martinez in the coolest off-duty look of slouchy jeans and a Celine bra top, accessorized with her seriously strong abs. Sydney topped the whole thing off with an oversized button-down and sunnies for a perfect casual-cool style.
Apparently, Sydney loves the look as much as we do, because she also shared it in her Instagram Stories. But if you missed the shot, here’s a peek at the look:
Sydney also shared the coolest photos on Instagram of one of her red carpet looks. In them, she’s rocking a gorgeous blue Miu Miu sheath dress and flashing her sculpted arms. Evidence A:

Sydney is looking super strong and happy these days, so if you’re curious to know more about her health and wellness routines, Women’s Health has got you covered. She’s been open about her active lifestyle, telling Bustle that she takes her dog Tank for a long walk twice a day. “We’ll do a two-mile walk in the morning and again at night if I can,” she shared. “If I’m feeling really motivated, I’ll run.”
Sydney is also a fan of at-home workouts. “If I have an hour, I’ll do a workout video at home, like a DOGPOUND one,” she said. “Sometimes it’s hard if I’m missing equipment, but it’s doable.”
Oh! She’s also into mixed martial arts, a.k.a. MMA. “I started when I was 14 and did my first competition at 18. It was a grappling competition against all guys a weight category above me, and I got first place,” she previously told Marie Claire. “Those guys were probably saying, ‘Oh, we didn’t want to hurt her,’ but they were definitely trying.”
It’s unclear how much MMA she does these days, though—Sydney told GQ that she has to stop fighting during filming so that she doesn’t get bruises that will show up on camera. But she raved about the mental health perks fighting has had for her. “Discipline is one of the first things that they teach you, and I really liked the respect I was teaching myself,” she said. “Now I put that into everything I do.”
One thing you won’t find her doing? Yoga. “I’ve tried to get into yoga, but my mind just races too much so I can’t get there yet,” she told Yahoo Life.

Body confidence is big for Sydney—she told Yahoo Life that she’s learned to appreciate her body and what it can do for her. “Something that I’ve really started telling myself is this is the one body I’ll have for the rest of my life,” she said. “It does so much for me and I need to appreciate it and I need to love it because I’m not going to get another one. So I’m just kind of loving myself more and thanking my body for everything it does.”
Keep doing you, Sydney!
