The Harvey Bulls are entering Saturday’s clash against South Bunbury at Hands Oval following a two-game losing streak, however, coach Mark Pink is confident his side will give their best.
“We haven’t lost the belief,” he said.
“There have been injuries, but every club battles with that. Belief is not the issue, so we just have to get back on track and do the basics.
“We are really looking forward to the challenge of playing South Bunbury. We may be a little bit undermanned, but they might be as well.”
Under lights at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, league leaders Busselton will lock horns with surprise packets Carey Park, who are desperate to snap their final hiatus this season.
Magpies coach Daniel Delaney is well aware of what the Panthers are capable of.
“I’m looking forward to a tight contest,” he said. “They are a young team. Frank Italiano (Panthers coach) and I are good mates as well, so we have to be ready for them.”
Two matches are scheduled for Sunday — Bunbury against Donnybrook at Payne Park, along with Eaton taking on Collie Eagles at Glen Huon Reserve.
Aside from working on their conversion and reducing turnovers, Eaton coach Chris Kinninmont is adamant his men need to start quickly against the winless Eagles.
“Collie are definitely not coming down the hill for a barbecue,” Kinninmont said. “They are coming for the four premiership points.”
On Tuesday, the SWFL announced its initial senior country week training squad, which is coached by Kinninmont.
