Law and Order: SVU season 24 has come to a close, and Benson and Stabler’s situationship is steamier than ever. But in real-life, Mariska Hargitay has been happily married to husband Peter Hermann for 18 years as evidenced by their fun dates around town.
Most recently, the duo stepped out to attend the 2023 Whitney Gala and Studio Party at the Whitney Museum in New York City. When Mariska and Peter arrived on the red carpet, folks couldn’t get enough of the tan maxi dress she wore for the event. The ensemble featured a high neckline, with billowing short sleeves that hit just above her elbow. The material of the gown also had a unique design, as it was tiered along the waistline and a few inches above the hem.
The true highlight of Mariska’s red carpet moment was the multi-colored pattern adorning the left side of the gown. With hues of yellows, greens and blues, the colors blended together to create what appeared to be a floral design.
Despite the black-tie nature of the event — Peter stepped out in a suit and tie — Mariska spiced up her outfit with notable accessories. Carrying a taupe quilted clutch with her, she also wore a bold pair of red tinted sunglasses. Her shoulder-length brown hair was styled in tousled waves, with highlights framing the sides of her face. For makeup, she pulled the look together with simple eyeliner, rosy cheeks and a pink lip color.
When the actress posted photos from her lavish night with her husband on Instagram, folks raved over her and Peter’s attire. They quickly showered the couple with compliments in the comments section.
“The Hermanns will always be the hottest couple on the red carpet. Queen the outfit and shades were a total slay!” one person wrote. “HOT PARENTS NIGHT OUT 😏🔥,” another added. “You SLAYED last night Queen. Wow. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌,” a different follower said.
Even when she’s not starring a heart-pumping scene on TV, Mariska knows how to make a memorable impression. And with Law and Order: SVU scoring a milestone season 25 renewal, she’ll likely give us more unforgettable moments on and off the red carpet.
