Police have issued a further plea for help after a crash in Epsom left a man in a “life-threatening” condition. Officers from Surrey Police were called to South Street in Epsom at 12.15am on Sunday (May 21) by the South East Coast Ambulance Service after a man was found unresponsive in the road.
Police believe the 44-year-old man, who was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, was involved in a collision close to the BP garage and ring road between 12.03am and 12.09am. Parts of Epsom High Street were closed overnight but have since reopened to the public.
A statement from Surrey Police states: “Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, even if they do not believe they witnessed the collision, as they may have important information which could help the investigation.”
