Skies were mostly clear Monday night meaning the marine layer in the morning should be minimal and skies will clear quickly. Mostly sunny skies and even warmer temperatures are in the books for our Tuesday with high temperatures reaching into the middle to upper 60s and middle 70s throughout the Central Coast. Winds will still be a concern with gusts close to 40mph in some areas, wind advisories may be issued.
Skies stay mostly clear through Tuesday night. Any low clouds or fog that does develop will burn off quickly Wednesday morning as well. More sunshine and warmer temperatures can be expected with highs reaching into the lower to middle 70s across the region. Northerly winds will remain gusty for some areas, keep this in mind for any outdoor activities you may have planned.
Thursday marks the first day of a slight cooldown. Temperatures will only be a few degrees cooler but clouds are expected to increase and more June gloom will persist. The cooldown and clouds only last through Friday, before more sunshine and warmer temperatures appear, just in time for the weekend. It looks like we are finally nearing the end of June gloom and starting to see a more summer-like trend.
