A summer thunderstorm that rolled through central Pa. hit Harrisburg, with golfball-sized hail damaging several properties.
Most severe of the damage was to Midtown Bookstore, where the glass front of the store was knocked out by winds and hail.
Elsewhere, on Third and Forster streets, a billboard toppled over.
Another tree was reported to be down on Third and Herr streets.
Finally, flooding on Front and Verbeke streets in Harrisburg has blocked off traffic, according to TheBurg.
The storm has since passed central Pennsylvania and has moved into Adams County as weakened thunderstorms, according to John Bowen, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Bowen said the storm came from Shamokin way, and produced up to quarter-inch sized balls on its way to north Harrisburg at around 7:50 p.m.
Reports of hailstones anywhere from penny-sized to golfball-sized continued to rain down as the severe thunderstorm warning expired at 8:45 p.m.
Harrisburg Bureau of Fire received 25 calls for service in the hour after the storm, according to city spokesperson Matt Maisel. He said there are many electrical hazards with downed lines, which city public works and fire is working to clean up. Maisel said no injuries have been reported as a consequence of the storm.
