ALLENTOWN — The Steinert High varsity baseball team came up with five runs in the top of the seventh inning to break up a tie game and defeat Allentown, 6-1, Wednesday at Dan Venet Field in their official Colonial Valley Conference matchup.
After the Spartans took a 1-0 lead in the first, Antonio Dominici hit a solo home run in the second inning to tie the score until the seventh.
Braedan Nitti had two hits for Steinert, and Jack Lambert drove in two runs.
