Cody Walker has finally found his ‘forever home’.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs five-eighth, 33, recently purchased a new duplex in the Sydney suburb of Sans Souci, according to realestate.com.au.
Walker shared an image of himself standing outside of the home to social media earlier this month while flanked by his two children Kian and Kade.
He captioned the image, ‘Exciting times, we now have our forever home’.
The duplex set the athlete back ‘around $2.3 million’ according to the outlet.
In his post, Cody added, ‘Thanks [estate agent Thomas Tamine] for all your assistance over the last few months you’re a legend’.
The new home boasts six bedrooms across two levels.
One of the rooms is a self-contained studio above the garage at the rear of the 377sq m block.
The boutique property also features a walk-in wardrobe in the upstairs master retreat along with an en suite with double vanity and double shower.
The living area opens to the landscaped gardens with a lap pool.
Cody’s teammates were quick to congratulate the four game Origin star, with South Sydney captain Cameron Murray writing ‘congrats bro’ on the post.
Jai Arrow, Blake Taaffe, Liam Knight, Thomas Burgess and former teammate Dane Gagai also weighed in.
Walker earns a rumoured $700,000 per season playing in the halves for the Rabbitohs.
The Nowra-born sports star began his career playing in lower grades for Penrith, Gold Coast and Melbourne, before making his NRL debut for South Sydney in 2016.
