SEATTLE, WASH. -After suffering a 2-0 loss at BC Place to Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Seattle Sounders FC (7-5-2, 23 points) returns home for a stretch of three home matches in eight days, kicking off against the New York Red Bulls (3-4-7, 16 points) tonight on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 93.3 KJR FM, Sirius XM FC, El Rey 1360 AM)
Seattle currently sits in second place in the Western Conference with 23 points through 14 matches, with Red Bulls in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with 16 points through 14 matches. Seattle has played to a 6-5-3 regular-season record against Red Bulls, including a 5-1-1 mark at home and a 17-8 goal advantage.
Following Saturday’s match, the Rave Green face a quick turnaround as it takes on the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, May 31 at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, iHeartMedia, El Rey 1360 AM).
