Hundreds of soon-to-be graduates arrived in vintage cars and sparkling dresses to celebrate their last year of schooling at Smithfield State High School.
While some arrived taking the spotlight themselves, others arrived with their friends and partners to raise their glasses to 13 years of schooling coming to an end.
Smithfield State High School senior school dean Julia Prentice said she looked forward to seeing them succeed in the next chapter of their lives.
“Our 2023 senior cohort is a lovely group of young adults who always go above and beyond to demonstrate exemplary conduct and attitude,” Ms Prentice said.
“They are all inclusive, kind and generous towards each other.”

Ms Prentice said the venue exceeded expectations in creating a perfect night for the students and guests.
“It was a spectacular evening with royal themes of purple and hints of glitter, delicious fine dining and lots of fun with our annual mock awards and dancing,” she said.
“As always our students never fail to amaze with their selection of cars for arrivals, beautiful dresses and handsome suits.”
There is now less than 20 weeks until year 12 students hang up their school shirts and finish their years of handwork.
