One of the teens lashes out with a punch before Gauci wrestles with another and they fall to the ground, the footage shows.
Gauci said while he was on the ground, a teen kicked him in the head.
Staff and customers are seen in the footage attempting to break up the melee, including one man who takes on one of the attackers.
“If he didn’t step in, it would have turned out a lot worse for me,” Gauci said.
He said he suffered bruises on his head and cuts on his back from being tackled into display shelving.
Gauci revealed the youths were the “boyfriends” of girls who had accused him of “harassing” them.
“They’ve turned up and questioned me,” he said.
“They left and came back a few minutes later and had their little fun.”
Two male youths, aged 18 and 17, have been charged with assault.
