Multiple people have been reported and issued instant loss of licence notices for drive disqualified and drug driving offences in the Murray Mallee region over the recent weekend.
On Friday 19 May, police stopped a Holden Commodore on Anderson Terrace at Glossop and spoke with the driver. Checks revealed the driver was disqualified from driving.
A 38-year-old woman from Glossop was reported and vehicle impounded for 28 days. The woman will be summonsed to appear at the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Friday 19 May, police stopped a motorcycle on Acacia Crescent, Renmark and conducted a mobile drug swipe on the driver. The swipe returned a positive screen result to meth.
A 50-year-old-man from Berri was reported and issued a three-month instant loss of licence. The man will be summonsed to appear at the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
