Airline Ryanair has announced a surprise flash sale on flights for 2023 in celebration of Eurovision. The company made the revelation today (Saturday, May 13) ahead of the singing contest’s Grand Final, which is set to take place at 8pm.
Ryanair have introduced a special ‘douze points’ sale with a 12 per cent off all booking made between May 13 and May 15, so you’ll need to get moving quickly. The bookings will have to be made for travel until the end of June.
The offer includes all travel bookings made to Ireland, UK, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Dara Brady, Director of Marketing & Digital at Ryanair, said: “We’ve had record bookings from fans travelling to Liverpool this year for what has already been an exciting Eurovision song contest.

As part of the celebrations, we are running a special ‘douze points’ sale with 12% off all flights booked this weekend (Sat, 13 May until Mon, 15 May) for travel until the end of June. We’re just a few hours away from the live Eurovision final, and The Sun reported the latest odds on who could take home the iconic microphone trophy. They reported the bookies have been forced to slash odds from 20/1 to just 9/1 on Israel’s Noa Kirel going all the way with ‘Unicorn’, making her third-favourite behind Sweden (1/2) and Finland (5/2).
Elsewhere, Ukraine are 12/1 shots as things stand, ahead of Belgium (20/1) and Spain (28/1), while the UK are out at 40/1 as it stands.
The Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final 2023 will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 8pm. It will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. All live shows are also available to watch on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
Liverpool has created The Eurovision Village in which fans can watch the live shows. It is located at the Pier Head and is free of charge, except for on the day of the final.

All three live shows will be presented by Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina. Broadcasters Rylan Clark and Scott Mills will be presenting the semi-finals and BBC Two’s coverage of the final. For the main coverage, TV presenter Graham Norton will be commentating alongside Mel Giedroyc.
