Yarding 6100 Change – 1061
Numbers reduced by 1000 to 6200 head this week at Roma. Despite a mixed quality yarding all the usual buyers were present and active, and continued support from Central and North West Queensland saw prices for light weight restockers steers and heifers hold firm. Secondary pens of yearlings continued to struggle to maintain support. Feeder heifers saw improved competition. Limited numbers of heavy grown steers eased in price mainly due to quality, while prime cows were firm to slightly dearer.
