Rita Ora and her mother Vera enjoyed the VIP treatment as they went out shopping in Sydney on Friday.
The pair were spotted arriving to House of K’dor, a luxury jewellery brand in Sydney’s Double Bay.
Pop star Rita, 32, looked stylish in baggy black trousers, a white T-shirt and a long black trenchcoat for the shopping trip.
The British singer, who is in Australia to film The Voice, completed her look with a pair of $550 AUD leather clogs by Camilla and Marc, unusual wrap-around sunglasses and a cross body bag.
She left her long blonde locks out and topped it all off with a dramatic makeup look.
Vera meanwhile wrapped up from the cold in a beige coat, jeans and a blue button-down shirt.
The pair were seen browsing through the store’s cabinets accompanied by owner Zena K’dor, perhaps while hunting for a gift to give Rita’s new husband Taika Waititi – whose birthday is coming up in August.
She and Taika quietly tied the knot some time in 2022, but waited until January this year to announce the news publicly.
Rita has since admitted didn’t want any ‘special attention’ from the public surrounding her marriage.
She told Glamour magazine: ‘Some women like to feel that real special attention that day. And everyone’s different.
‘And for me – I think with my job, it is all… it’s very attention driven – I wanted to keep it private because my life and my career aren’t.’
The last-minute ceremony was planned in just two days and the only guests to attend in person were Taika’s two daughters from his first marriage and Rita’s sister Elena.
