Celebrity chef Adrian Richardson is set to open his next restaurant right in the heart of Geelong, according to reports.
Mr Richardson is most known for being the “bad chef” on Channel 10’s popular series Good Chef, Bad Chef.
He is the chef-owner of multiple restaurants, including La Luna Bistro in Carlton, Bouvier Bar and Grill in Brunswick, and BOS Brisbane in Queensland.
It’s understood Mr Richardson is about to sign a deal to take over the first floor of The Geelong Quarter’s Holiday Inn and Suites, a multimillion-dollar development on Ryrie St.
The $200m Franze Development project combines commercial, residential and hospitality elements aimed at becoming a premier destination in the region.

It’s understood Mr Richardson has been visiting the region in the lead up to finalising the agreement.
While the name and cuisine for the new venture is not finalised, it’s understood Mr Richardson will feature steak as the signature dish.
Mr Richardson’s love for steak and all things meat is well known, with the chef releasing a cookbook simply titled Meat in 2008.
