A change in line up this match saw the Rennie A Grade take the lead at quarter time with the girls working well all over the court. The next 2 quarters saw the score more even with intense work needed to finish off in the last.
Defensive pressure from the attack end, pushing for all 4 quarters, but especially in the last, led to a very close win.
A huge team effort in this game bought the A Grade closer as a unit, and they fought hard for the four points.

The girls came out firing this week resulting in a 5-point lead at quarter time. Going into the second quarter the girls took a little longer than normal to settle into the game giving Yarroweyah a chance to come back.
It saw the girls a little flat going into the 3rd quarter letting Yarroweyah have a 4 goal lead during.
However the girls dug deep in the last quarter and with an unbelievable goal on the siren the girls came away with a draw. Well done girls.

It was a Hopper stand-off at Rennie this week, but only one team would chirp their way to victory. Winning the toss two weeks in a row was as much of a shock as a redback in the dunny.
The C Res welcomed back Amz to lead the team chant. Steph M was upsetting the attackers with more arms than an octopus and Trudz trucked on through keeping defence a force to be reckoned with.
Maya was instrumental and graceful all over the court. Steph Exty was spotted showing off scratches from last week as proud trophies. Edey Pops brought the gorgeous factor to the court, donning her ribbons and turning over balls in the midcourt as a hobby.
Shez was instrumental in so many aspects; she dictated the play and also the halftime talk where she told about the 400 pizzas she delivered the night before.
Tegs aka on court director, dictated the play in the shooting quarter. She delivered as many perfect passes and goals as Shez delivered pizzas, while Lenny just delivered herself heaps of rebounds.
Gup thought she was a C Res player during the warmup and had to do a cool down after all the pre-game rubs. She said it was good crack though. Difficult to call the awards this week after some beautiful girls created some inspirational plays. 46-15.
Well done to Shezzy McBurnie with the players award, pity she wasted the players mug to go and prep the pepperoni.

After a week off training due to school commitments, the girls came ready to warm up and play their own game.
The game started off with great rotating in the ring, direct passes and two hands on the ball every time, and intercepts all over.
These girls really do pride themselves on doing the basics and doing them well.
The girls kept chipping away and with a large lead heading into the last quarter it was lovely to see the girls mix up their positions (more than usual) and play for fun and smiles.
It was so lovely to see everyone having a go, giving it their all and simply enjoying the game.
Another great win, and great game.

This week the girls made huge improvements. They were pulling in every ball with two hands, talking on the court and most importantly backing each other up.
The shooters moved perfectly creating space for one another as well as the mid courters whose drives up and down the court were amazing.
The tireless work from the defenders saw many turnovers creating many scoring opportunities. Well done girls!

Another great game from the under 13 girls against the cross town Hoppers. Rennie played well as a team and even though there was some crowding early, they eventually got into the groove of the game.
The girls really applied what they had worked on in training this week and put it into practice in the game and it showed in the end result.
All girls played well and it was hard to narrow down awards but the Zambreros award went to Layla Thwaites for keeping her head up and persevering. Mulwala Bakery went to Michelle for her amazing passes into the goalies, Rhodes family award went to Maisie Cope for her flexibility on court and her positive attitude and Ali Baba kebab went to Isabel Bruce for her voice and direction on court and her energy to just keep going! Well done girls.

Great game by all the girls. They all played really well as a team using strong passes and getting the ball quickly down the court to the ring.
The goal shooters were on fire working with each other getting to where they needed to be to shoot some great goals and get those rebounds.
Awesome defending shown throughout the game and can really see the girls are driving forward to the ball.
Awards: Ricky D’s – Lennie, Mulwala Bakery – Ella Gorski, PM Junior Dev – Ella Wilson and Rhodes Family – Lilly Lewis.
