Qantas has launched a massive sale on flights ahead of the Mother’s Day weekend.
Australia’s flagship airline has slashed the price of 700,000 fares in celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday, with flights starting at just $99.
Keen travellers can nab a one-way flight from Melbourne to Sydney for just $129, Sydney to Brisbane for $139 and Sydney to Ballina for $99.
For those looking to travel to Perth, one-way economy flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane start at just $299.
The sale starts on Friday and will last until next Tuesday, and is only valid for flights between mid-July to mid-December, 2023.
Customers can use Covid credits they received during the pandemic to book fares.
‘We know people are thinking about connecting with family this weekend,’ a Qantas spokesperson said.
‘Whether you’re looking for a last minute gift for Mum or planning a catch up later in the year, there’s more than 700,000 great value fares to help get the family back together.’
The sale has coincided with the launch of the airline’s ‘Feels Like Home’ campaign.
The heartwarming video features a real-life reunion between an Australian mother and her son who has been living in Japan.
The pair are reunited after being separated for over four years during Covid.
‘The heartwarming moment of the mum and son finally getting a hug at her 60th birthday party in country Victoria was filmed in real time,’ Qantas said.
