Noted swimmer Zapateo is the firmer with Ladbrokes.com.au for The Goodwood (1200m) this afternoon at Morphettville.
The James Cummings trained mare was luckless in the Sangster two weeks ago and with a wet track, a genuine tempo, it all points to her going well. Market agrees, having her at $3.80 favourite, in from $8.
On paper, Lofty Strike looks a good thing but the wet track has punters concerned and is at $3.90 after opening $2.80. Kallos, 3/3 since being gelded, is rock solid at $8.
