Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:30pm CDT at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
This month’s presentation will be “Psychological Support During Divorce.”
“Divorce is incredibly stressful,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, which will facilitate the seminar.
“It can place a heavy psychological burden on a father, whose home and family are torn apart, and who is fighting for his children, and who is worried about the financial consequences. In our firm, we work closely with psychologists who can help divorcees navigate this very difficult time in their lives. We will hear from a dedicated psychologist at the seminar.”
Lawyer Andrey B. Filipowicz from the Leving firm will also talk about: “Litigating against a counterparty who is pro se.” Pro seelitigants are those who appear in court without a lawyer – an increasing occurrence in family law.
The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals who wish to expand their legal knowledge. CLE credit will be awarded.
Please make reservations by emailing Jennifer Whiteside ([email protected]), as this program is close to capacity.
