Across one weekend in July, Roma Street Parkland will play host to a range of delicious food and drink pop-ups, complete with masterclasses and live music.
Roma Street Parkland is about to host a lush food and drink event, across just two days in July. On Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9, Providore Park will descend on Brisbane, with live music, masterclasses and picnic pop-ups dedicated to some of the best food and drink the city has to offer.
Taking centre stage at the event is The Village, which features a huge range of stalls offering artisan food, drinks and gourmet treats for sampling. Taste your way through cheeses, chocolates and antipasti, as well as oysters and pastries. There’ll also be wine, beer and a few alcohol-free options to wash everything down with.
Once you’ve had your hands on an adequate number of treats, you can snap up a table and settle in at the main stage for a day of live music – all totally free to watch. The full line-up will be released soon, but will feature a range of fun local musicians and artists. If you’re keen for a dance, you can also head to the DJ Lounge, where a rotating line-up of DJs will be on deck throughout the day.
If the food range has you inspired, book in for a masterclass at The Conservatory, where you’ll be guided through the art of food and drink matching, with plenty of snacks and drinks on offer for tasting. Or try your hand at croquet at the pop-up Croquet Club – with a glass of rosé in hand (of course).
There’s plenty more on offer as well. See more information and plan your visit. Entry to Providore Park is free, although some venues require paid tickets.
