RSPCA Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire is gearing up to host its annual fun dog show at the Holdings Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Kempsey.
Pet owners will be able to put their pups forward for a range of awards, including the waggiest tail and best puppy.
Claire Wood, from the RSPCA Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire branch, said: “We are definitely on a countdown for our amazing annual dog show and we can’t wait.
“At the moment the forecast is for a cloudy day, so hopefully it will be a little cooler than it has been, which is great news.
“We will still be providing plenty of shady areas, drinking bowls and paddling pools for your pups to cool off in and we will have two vets on site on the day – so please rest assured that doggy safety is our top priority.
“There will be refreshments for us humans too. There will also be an ice cream van and a vegan BBQ and we will be selling cakes too.”

The fun day takes place this Sunday (June 18) between 10.30am and 4pm.
Alongside the dog show will be a shop, a photography studio for dogs and humans with Nigel Wood Photographs, and a merchandise stall ran by Ginger Cat Crafts.
All funds raised on the day will go directly to the branch to help fund the ongoing care of the animals at the branch, as well as animal welfare work in the community.
Parking will cost £1, with entry to the dog show priced at £2 per class.
It’s not too late to get involved, with Mrs Wood encouraging donations.
She said: “If any talented bakers would like to donate some goodies for us to sell we’d very much appreciate it.
“Donated cakes can be dropped off at The Holdings WR5 3FP on Saturday between 11am and 4pm.”

The fun day also coincides with the RSPCA’s One Fun Day where dozens of events are happening across England and Wales, in a bid to raise much-needed funds for RSPCA’s network of branches and animal centres and help all of the animals in their care.
