The Red Devils are determined to reclaim the league title, which they lost to arch-rivals Zamalek over the past two seasons.
Despite their last league match being on 17 April, Ahly still sit atop the table with 53 points, holding a one-point advantage over second-placed Pyramids FC, despite playing five fewer games.
With their recent participation in the semi-final second leg against Esperance of Tunisia on Friday, coach Marcel Koller is likely to rotate his squad for the upcoming match.
However, Captain and goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy will be absent from the Enppi game due to a three-match suspension. Nevertheless, Ali Lotfi has proven to be a reliable choice between the posts.
Maintaining an unbeaten streak of 21 league matches, the Cairo giants are eager to extend their remarkable record against the resurgent Enppi.
Since Tamer Mostafa’s arrival in February, he has successfully guided the team out of the relegation zone, and they now occupy the ninth position with 36 points from 28 matches.
